Nunzio Crisa (17/2/1958-14/7/2012).

After the degree in physic, Nunzio left Milano to Munich, where he got the PhD in Physical Chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians Universitaet.

Although he loved scientific research, and liked the hard workof study, nostalgia made him return to Italy, a country that was generally not very grateful to researchers. Here he had worked with IBM for quite a long time, but meanwhile growth his passion with Caucasian rugs and classical carpets, and oriental antique textiles.

One day, when he felt ready, he decided to quit a safe job to live to start a project to feed his soul. He got less money, but finally I saw the smile returning on his face. Very soon he became a reference in this niche market, he worked as consultant for auction houses, and as contributing editor of the magazine HALI.

During his trips. when he looked at some interesting pieces he feeded his collection with new articles. At the point where his collection growth too much, he started the UROBORO philosopy to allow him to "start again the cycle".
This is not a pure commercial website, it's a way to continue this philosophy started by my dear brother.

ABOUT UROBORO

Is dedicated to Nunzio, my only and best brother I could have had. He was also a friend of mine, and of great help in my life, making me simple hard decisions.
What you find here is his personal collection. Unfortunately, my home is not large enough to contain all, so if you are interested in purchasing any article, please contact me. Some of these articles are already collected by some friends of mine and are no more available. These pieces are marked with a red asterisk.
